Madeline Elizabeth Cooper is a junior at the University of North Alabama majoring in Secondary Education with a focus in Social Science. She hopes to continue her education on the doctoral pathway to administration. Madeline was born and raised in Russellville, Alabama and graduated from Russellville High School in 2022. She is the oldest of 3 children, with 2 younger brothers. Madeline is a member of the Cole Honors College, she served as Executive Chairwoman of Freshman Forum, and she marched with the UNA Marching Pride as a UNA Lionette during the 2022 marching season. Madeline serves as a Disciple Group Leader for the UNA Baptist Campus Ministries, as well as serving on the Praise Team. She is currently a member of the LaGrange Society, National Society of Leadership and Success, and serves as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator for the University Program Council. Madeline was crowned Miss University of North Alabama last weekend, where she additionally won the Community Service and Involvement Scholarship Award. Madeline’s community service initiative is entitled “Liberty+Learning for All, Civic Education for Alabama’s Students” where she works alongside a non-profit organization, “The Liberty Learning Foundation” that focuses on bringing civic education, character education, financial literacy, and career readiness programs to Alabama’s K-12 classrooms.
